Thought I'd stop by and post a few photos of my latest projects

I created this Journal using MME lost and found papers. I accented it with a Prima vine and some Wild Orchid roses.

The project I'm working on right now is a stacking photo cube again using the MME lost and found papers.

I know I wanted to get back to my blog and keep it updated but that didn't work out so well! I hope this coming year I have better luck! I joined a Friends secret valentine swap so I hope to be able to post a few of the projects I will be making for my secret partner! I have lots of ideas I want to create I just hope I have enough time to complete them all!

I'm sure you can see it's been 4 months since my last blog post! WOWZA.. Time sure does go by faster than you think at times. I'm starting to get a little bit more crafting time and Loving It. I have created my first Christmas card of the Year. I followed my ever so Favorite sketch blog Midnight Madness and used one of my stamps Cowgirl Marci from La La Land crafts.

I know it's been an incredible long time since I have posted any projects or work on my blog!  I just want to through a shout out to ALL my online friends how much I appreciate them! I'm so grateful I've been able to meet so many amazing talented ladies via this technology called the internet. Here is this week's Sketch and my Design Team Creation:

Using the Timepiece paper collection from Bo Bunny I created this card using the Studio 313 Exclusive Creations image called Hatching Eggs. This image would normally be perfect for an Easter card but I used it as a friendship card for an Egg-ceptional person.
With a heavy Heart I must sadly announce this will be my finally Design team card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge Team. I have stepped down due to family obligations but I do still Hope to stop in from time to time and maybe create using Priscilla's fabulous sketches and showcase some wonderful sponsors.

Here is this week's Sketch and my Design Team Creation:

For this weeks card I have created a bright and cheery card using Bold colors and lots of texture. I used several paper manufactures that complimented the Vintage balloon from Sugar Creek Hollow. For the card base I used 7 gypsies Lille paper. I printed my image on kraft cardstock and layered a second image using some DCWV tradewinds designer paper. I accented with some ruffled black trim, a flower cut from brown lace, a handmade stickpin and some vintage themed ephemera. I stitched a few areas to give more texture and 3 buttons to finish the sketch.

The inside was kept fairly simple for lots of room for a Note to the card recipient.

Sugar Creek Hollow monochromatic challenge card

Welcome to my Sugar Creek Hollow Sensational Saturday card share. This weeks challenge is to create a  Monochromatic card.

I choose to use the dogwood sketch image. I colored with Lindy's stamp gang mica powders and my aquabrush. I wanted to add some flowers to match so I created my own dogwood blossoms by using a Wild orchid crafts cherry blossom and cut out one of the petals and notching the petal tips. I love how they turned out. I accented with some Prima Bling, lace and seem binding.

Here is this week's Sketch and my Design Team Creation:

As you can see by the photo I rotated my card sketch 90* to the left.

I printed my image on watercolor paper as I normally do. This is my favorite media to use with all my images. I colored my image with colored pencils and blended with baby oil.
The background sky I created by covering my image with Eclipse art masking tape and chalked with a light blue. This was my first time using the product and just love it.
My designer paper choice for this card was the Webster's Pages Postcards from Paris collection.
I accented the background with some rough colored pencil highlights and distress inks.
I created the bottom clouds by altering the initial image in my photoshop program and adding the sentiment from the collection on one of the altered images.
A few 2mm white pearls and pink crystal accents worked perfect for the swirl ends.

Vintage Easter

Hello friends! Welcome back to my Sugar Creek Hollow Sensation Saturday Card Share.

I'm keeping this a very simple post as I'm fighting a nasty cold and need to get back to resting.

This weeks challenge is to create a Vintage Easter card or project.

I used the free image that was offered during the Sugar Creek Hollow blog hop.

I colored my image with my pencils and sprayed the entire image with heirloom gold perfect pearl mist.

 I accented with a some vintage lace and a paper image from Tim Holtz paper collection. Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and flat back pearls.
