Are you having a Good start to your weekend? It's about to get even better.
Today's challenge over at Sugar Creek Hollow is:
Black & White plus a splash of 1 other color.
I created a Get Well Easel card for a friend. The paper I used is from DCWV the Black Currant stack it worked perfect for this challenge.
Not too many embellishments were needed. A few Wild orchid craft roses and some white lace glimmer misted to match my pretty papers.
Both images are from the New Valentine digital stamps from Sugar Creek Hollow.
To frame my Get well image I cut a lacy square spellbinder cut and simple removed one of the sections and glued back together to create a lacy rectangle.

Such a fabulous card Dawn. I have never been able to get this easle design down, and byt the looks of your glorious creation, you have mastered it. Fabulous design and I adore those sweet, little, pearls that you have so delicatly placed.
I think this has been my favorite challenge yet. Your card is so elegant with the gorgeous magenta accent color. I love the lace and the perfectly coordinated roses! Very creative lengthening the square die. I sometimes "cheat" too to get the look I want. You've highlighted both images so nicely. Love your card!
Dawn, this is just lovely.

Beautiful card Dawn. I love the purple with the B&W challenge. It's so rich and elegant.
Oh my goodness - another show-stopper Dawn! Totally gorgeous card. The lacey square to rectangle trick is genious - I will be remembering that one! You always have the perfect floral embellishments for your cards - please tell where you find them! Love how you combined the two images together on the card too!
Hugs,
Sharon
