Happy Monday Everyone! It's been a great start to the week for me hope it has been for you as well. I was able to sit down and make a card this afternoon. I followed this weeks Squigglefly color challenge of blue & greens set forth by the lovely Maria. I used the sketch from MMSC#50 and an adorable new image from Squigglefly called bug time nap by new artist Jackie Mathews.
This card also fits a few more challenges:

A Moose-ical Birthday Card!

Happy Thursday! Where did the week go? I guess when your taking extra strength Tylenol for a nasty headache things just seem to blur by! I was able to sit down for a short while this morning and make a Birthday card for a Friend. I combined as many challenges as I could with this card. The very first challenge theme for Sundays With Crissy challenge blog  is make it a combo. I used a Squigglefly image called  Moose-ical Genius by artist Crissy Armstrong.

A few more Challenges this card follows ~
SophistiCat ~ distressing - I think that is a given with my style
allsorts ~ in stiches - real or faux - mine are faux
The Crafty pad ~ stitching
Sweet Stampin ~  In stitches
Your Next Stamp ~ stitching
Penny's Paper-Crafty ~ Anything Goes
Stamp Something ~ something layered

Sorry for such a short post but I'm still fighting this headache and putting together a blog post is just not on my list of things to cure it. (LOL)

Squigglefly Rewinds!

Happy Wednesday or hump day as some of you call it. I'm excited to share with you a card I made featuring one of my favorite "Older" images available at Squigglefly. Today some of the Squigglefly design team members are showcasing some of the older images available at Squigglefly. To check out the other design team cards check out their blogs listed on the right side of the Squigglefly blog. I just love these little duckies in the pool aren't they cute as can be. They just make me smile. The image is called Take a Dip by Cheryl Alger.

A new Squigglefly challenge

Happy Monday! It's the start of a new week which means another fabulous challenge over at the Squigglefly blog. This week Kim has challenged the design team to make a birthday card with her favorite color PINK.  Happy Birthday Kim! I choose to use the Whimsy cake slice image by artist Angie Davis.
I'm still in my vintage phase so it has a slight vintage feel.
I used the vintage shabby Tim Holtz design papers. I printed my image onto 3 different designs from K&Co McKenna paper line. I cut and pieced them together to create my cake slice. I created my first silk lollipop flower. I like how it turned out. I printed the sentiment on the same K&CO paper using my photoshop program. I used some Recollections bling to accent. The card sketch comes from MMSC49.

A few more Vintage Tags!

I seem to be in a Vintage mood in my craft projects. Today Squigglefly released a few more images and I already see several I'm going to have to get. My first project is a Magnet I made for my fridge. I used medium weight chipboard and the Vintage Shabby Tim Holtz paper for the background. I printed and colored my image which is one of today's new releases. The image is called vintage flower maiden by artist Rich Davis.

This second Tag I made just for fun again using the Tim Holtz vintage shabby papers and my Prima notary stamp. The image is an Oxford impression image.

While taking photos of my Vintage magnet my Digital camera crashed on me. It will still takes pictures but the LCD screen is burnt out and the view finder is black. So I'm taking pictures literally in the dark not knowing what the image will look like. Nothing like moving back 10 years in technology.  I'm researching new cameras today so I hope to have a new one ordered this weekend. Why do I ramble all this well... I won't have any pictures to show you the next several days.
If anyone has suggestions that would be great.

Don't forget to stop over a Squigglefly and check out today's new releases. They are Fabulous!
For all the Copic users out there ABC Toys and Crafts Blog is having a candy to win 12 Basic colors.

I got to craft today! Yippeee!!!!

Bottle feeding my 3 week old puppies is taking up all my spare time, but I was able to get in a quick craft fix this afternoon. I just got the new Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby paper stack and I had to use it. This is a quick post as my daughters are soon to wake from their nap.

It's not much but I had fun!

Happy Monday!

Mondays are always fun as it's the start of a new Challenge For the Squigglefly Blog. This week Kim has given the challenge to make a flap Card. You can find the tutorial here. For my card I flipped it on it's side. I used 2 Squigglefly images on my card. The front image is called How Do I Look? by artist Lynne Stansbery. The inside image is called Shady Lady by artist Chesney Young.

Some of you may know 2 1/2 weeks ago my dachshund gave birth to 8 puppies. We sadly lost 2 of the pups early on. Well things are a little crazy around here as the Mother had gone into toxic shock twice as the pups were draining her of all her nutrition and she couldn't keep her calcium levels up. Due to this I had to separate mom and pups. I'm now bottle feeding the remaining 6 puppies every 3 hours. I have not been able to craft in several days. I have 2 young children still needing my attention as well so I'm completely exhausted. I hope to get back to my work table soon.
Thanks for stopping by to look at my Card and I hope you have a Happy Crafty Week!
