You made the cut!

I'm happy to announce some VERY Exciting News! I applied for a Design Team position at Squigglefly.com and was Super excited when they emailed me to invite me to join the Design Team for January 1, 2010 through June 30, 2010. I seen the Image The Barber-from artist Cheryl Alger and immediately had a great card idea! I made this card for all my fellow DT members at Squigglefly.com To say I'm excited for the New Year is an understatement. So stop back later to see some more great cards designed around the Fabulous Squigglefly digital images. You can head over to Squigglefly.com on Saturday Jan. 2nd and get this great image for yourself, enjoy the sneak peak.
with the added challenge of using some vellum somewhere on your card. The paper is from My Mind's Eye Simply Delightful paper stack.

Happy Holidays!

I hope Everyone is having a great time getting ready for the Big Christmas Day! We traditionally celebrate for the last two weeks in the month of Dec. with Decorating ornaments and baking holiday goodies but best of all spending time with family! I have neglected my blog the last few weeks as I have been so busy with so many things! One of those is a mini scrapbook album I intend to give to my Mother-in-law as a holiday gift. I tried to keep it very simple as she mostly wants an album to display the photos rather than a pretty page accented by a photo. There are Several photos so beware!
You can right click on any of the photos to see a larger image!
This is the Album Cover!

Just a quick post to display my Family Tree and a friends blog candy!

My family normally travels out of town for the Christmas Holiday. This year we have decided to stay at home for the first time. My husband and I will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary this next year and this is our first Christmas in Our Home. I'm thinking I might just do it every year as the kids are getting older and it's harder to travel long distances with 4 busy kids. Not to mention I don't have to spend a week in advance planning and packing the luggage items. A quick pic of our Family tree. My kids decorated it with several of their own handmade ornaments and a few store bought. I just love the smell of a real tree.

Just thought I would drop a little note. A fellow craft friend of mine has Blog Candy up for grabs! Feel free to check it out! Thoughts of a Crafty Mom

Just a few craft projects I didn't have a chance to post. Beware Picture Heavy.

I've fallen a little behind on posting my projects but rest assured I've been staying busy. I will just group them all together in this post so Hope you enjoy!
I created this Double sided Tri-Fold Frame for a challenge on a great craft forum Life on the{scrap}beach. I had received a sheet with small Photos of different background options with my children's Fall pictures. This is how I made use of them. I cut the base out of Heavy Chipboard and covered with some Yummy Design paper from my paper stash. I used ribbon as the thread underneath the paper to adhere the photos in their little windows. I strung some unique beads for the Center which also is hidden under the paper. I attached the side frames simple using hinges. Covering them with some paper for a hidden appeal.
I Intend to give this to my Mother-in-law but it's too cute I don't know if I can give it away.

Another project I completed as a gift is this cute Wallet mini for my Auntie Con to hold pictures of her Adorable Grandson.

Ok that's all for this morning will put together another post later today! Thanks for looking and feel free to leave me a comment!
