A few more Birdhouses!

Well it's day 2 of Spring break with the kids home. The house is still standing and I did get some crafting done. That's good odds in my Book! Now if I could only ask mother nature to cooperate it would be fantastic. We are having High winds here today and it's knocked out the Power 3 times now. I'm trying to sneak in this post before it goes out again.
I completed 3 more little birdhouse Easter treat holders. These will be for my niece's and nephew.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look and I hope you have a Happy Crafty Week.

Sundays With Crissy DT Try Out!

One of my favorite Digital artists Crissy Armstrong is creating a Brand New Challenge Blog! Sundays With Crissy a bi-weekly challenge blog starting April 11th. I know there will be several amazing crafters who will be applying for a coveted DT spot but I can't win if I don't Play! The image I chose is called Lion Hugs you can find this image at Squigglefly.
I followed the Sketch challenge from Friday Sketchers. I used MME papers with Prima pearls and flowers.
I colored the image with my trusty old colored pencils. I love how this card makes me feel the strength of the lion but the softness of the lamb. I created a matching envelope using Priscillastyles envelope design.

Thank You Crissy for the opportunity to join in your new adventure!

Thank you to my blog friends for stopping by to take a look at my projects!
Have a Happy Crafty Day!
A few more challenges:
Your Next Stamp : distressing

More crafty goodness.

This week has been so tough with this darn cold bug. I was able to finish my tags for a tag swap hosted by Arlene at Butterfly Kisses. I also created a Thank You card for hosting the swap. For the card I used a digital image from Squigglefly called Flower Set by artist Lynne Stansbery.
It fit perfect for the Squigglefly challenge this week which is Let it Shine.
I printed the image three times and cut out the blooms to add some layered appeal. I inked and glimmer misted the cut-out images.
I hand made the lace Roses and accented with 7gypsie leaves.
Now for the Tag. I made 9 in total 8 for the swap and 1 to keep.
Thanks for stopping to take a look and have a Happy Crafty weekend!

A few more challenges for my card:
ScrapFit - blog-hop elements
Bee Crafty - spring
Crafty Catz - Spring
Flutter By Wednesday - green with butterfly, fairy or angel

Oh my it's been a while!

Hello Everyone! I'm so sorry it's been so long since my last post. With all my internet issues and the little girls and I being sick I just simple have dropped the ball. I've had little to no time for crafting. When I have found the time or energy to craft I've made a few Thank you Tags and I've been working on my Tags for Arlene's swap. I've started a desktop mini album for my girlfriend Kim. It will be a calendar mini to sit on her desk at work. I've also been working on some 12x12 layouts for my sister-in-law. Here are a few photos:

Thanks for stopping by. I will try to stay on top of my posts and not get so far behind again. I will post a photo of my Tag swap once I finish putting the final touches on them.
Before I go Prima is having another giveaway so check it out.
 Have a Happy crafty day!
