catching up on 12x12 layouts!

I've been trying to catch up on my personal 12x12 album layouts which is funny because that is how I started crafting and now that seems to be my back burner projects!
I created this layout using my son's 3rd grade Fall school picture using the Webster's pages WonderFall Collection.

I know I know I've already gotten flac from my son because I created his older sisters page 3 months ago. But in my defense creating personal layouts for 4 kids and also trying to learn and grow in new medias and craft I kinda get side-tracked. I do love my Design team creations but my true passion is looking at my greatest creation - - - -my children. My children are the most beautiful thing I will ever create and keeping up on their growth is immense. This year my goal is to go back to my roots and create for me or their future. I have met so many amazing crafter's on the web but in reality how many will stop by for a cup of coffee to look at my work????? I say this in the most kind way I can! I just need to take a step back and create for me and my memories!
Here are a few favorite elements of this layout:

I accented this Owl and books with several distress stickles and inks. This is a paper piece cut from the pattern paper of Webster's pages WonderFall collection.

The bike is a stamp from the TPC Studio Grandma's attic clear stamp collection. I accented with 2 Tim Holtz gears for my wheels and diamond glaze to give the bike more depth.
I hope you enjoyed looking at my art and.......

Have a Happy crafty Day!
