Oh my I haven't posted in over a week!

I'm back with lots of projects to share! I guess I didn't realize I went the whole week without posting anything! Darn headaches caused more trouble than I thought. I can't wait for the weather to get nice and stay that way. We had snow last week that's just crazy.

My first project I'd like to share is my Squigglefly Blog DT project! Kim's fun challenge this week was to make a bookmark! How fun!
The Squigglefly image I chose was from the Flowers Set by artist Lynne Stansbery.
My Daughter is an avid reader and reads a book a day it seems. I made her two bookmarks so she could keep her place in more than one book. How she can read two different Novels at the same time I'm not sure but she does it!  I colored the image using my Tim Holtz Distress Inks and glimmer mist. I embossed the image after it partial dried to give it a rain drop texture. The rose edges are accented with stickles. The lace and rhinestone bling give the appears of a window flower-box and ground the image. I added some beautiful fibers at the top. I also added a Tim Holtz swivel clasp with a hinge clip attached at the end so she can clip it to the back of her book and not lose her bookmark.
The image I choose for the second bookmark was another Squigglefly image Fiesta Cinqo De Mayo Bear by artist Lynne Stansbery.

My friend Crystal from the {scrap}beach seen these bookmarks and asked if I could make one for her but use her favorite color Blue. So I did! I hope she likes it!

I'll post some more pictures of some of the challenges I completed for the NSD {scrap} Beach challenges tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by and Have a Happy Scrappy day!

Well I sure missed you Dawn! I love your bookmarks! The blue one is my favorite but that's only because of the color. They are all gorgeous. Your little Fiesta Shy Bear is darling! Just in time for Cinco de Mayo!
